Doing important work as a registered nurse at a local emergency department by day, Ashley Verge from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia is an emerging artist by night. Her faith and love for nature, horticulture, surfing and hiking inspire her work which features heavy use of palette knives and oil paint to create rich texture and mood throughout her paintings.
