Collection: Alison Mitchell

Alison Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist who lives in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Her paintings, fiber art, and collages depict simplified, stylized subjects in vibrant but limited colour palettes. Her paintings are made with heavy bodied acrylics and her fiber pieces are made with hand-dyed Atlantic Canadian yarn and a small wooden rug hooking tool called a punch needle. Her work is a part of private collections in Canada and abroad.
